The ultimate dive watch, TAG Heuer's Aqua Racer provides the high-performance features you need with rugged handsome styling. It features a flat black dial with three-hand function, a date window at 3 o'clock, and luminescent markers on the hands, indexes and bezel scale. Special luminescent material has been added to the tip of the bright yellow second hand for added visibility. The dial is set in a brushed steel case and framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminum ring for timing dives and other limited events. Large-sized Arabic numerals on the ring make the dive scale easy to read. The screw-in case back is engraved with an image of a diver's helmet, and the screw-in crown is fitted with a double seal. Water resistant to 300 meters, this watch is perfect for diving. Other notable features include precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch presents on a triple-link bracelet of brushed steel that fastens with a fold-over-clasp-with-safety.

Okay, I don't have this particular watch but, I've had my TAG Heuer quartz for around 20 years now. It's on it's second battery and is still better that any watch I've ever owned, including Rolex, Seiko, Citizen, Raymond Weil, G shock, etc... the list goes on. My TAG is the Professional Divers, 200 Meter and is showing slight wear on the rotating bezel (mea culpa, I was wearing it working on the car) but you expect that, after two kitchen and 4 bathroom renovations, tile floors, water sking, and motocross trail riding... guys, you can't go wrong. Saphire Xtal and stainless, I still get compliments and the watch is comfortable to wear, casual or dress. I payed around $700 back then and considering the others I've gone through, the TAG is still the best deal in the land. A couple years ago, I didn't wear the watch for about a 8 months (took and extended trip and left it in the dresser) when I got home the watch was within seconds of the correct time, unbelievable.

Simplicity, style, function...with a "nice feel" on the wrist. Certainly, you could go with a less expensive option... Inv*cta...or more expensive...R*lex...but for a reliable "everyday" watch that will keep ticking year after year...this was the one for me.

I purchased mine on a Thursday afternoon, I bought the recommended bracelet adjustment tool, and by two o'clock in the afternoon the next day I'm wearing the watch and have put away all the packaging. This is a truly beautiful timepiece, I'm glad I bought the quartz movement, I worried about a long time, but I prefer efficiency and accuracy. The whole process, adjusting the band, setting the watch, and getting used to everything about it took about five minutes. Could not be happier.
